The United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution A/RES/47/193 of 22 December 1992 by which 22 March of each year was declared World Day for Water.

This is the eighth in the CCWI series of biennial conferences organised by the universities of Brunel, De Montfort, Exeter and Imperial College. Focusing mainly on water systems modelling and control this conference aims to bring together leading experts from academia and industry.
