The undersigned supporters of the Open Source EPANET initiative acknowledge the visionary role of the US EPA in developing EPANET and placing the program and source code in the public domain.<\/p>\n<p>The WDSA Standing Committee of the EWRI (Environmental and Water Resources Institute), a technical institute of the ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), voted to initiate an open source project for the continued development of EPANET.
